Stuart joined ESM as the Women’s 2s and 3s Coach in 2019. He has played in the National League, at Regional & District level and represented England at junior level. Since moving to Scotland has has primarily been assisting young players progress to National League and District level. He has also coached Seniors in the East District League, developing a team that achieved two successive promotions, a close challenge for National League Championship qualification and to win the region’s Sports Council ‘Team of The Year Award’, picking up a ‘Coach of the Year Award’ as well. Stuart is strong supporter of the Scottish Hockey Coaching Programme and of youth hockey generally; he can also regularly be found umpiring schools matches.
