Jessica (Jet) Orr

Jet returns to our youth coaching team to welcome the P3s, previously having coaching the U16 girls. Jet started playing hockey at school aged 13 and played for Western Wildcat youth and senior section.  Following a brief spell playing for Coleraine HC in Northern Ireland, Jet joined ESM in 2017 and currently plays in the Ladies 1s team. Hockey has always been about the enjoyment and sense of team spirit for Jet and she is looking forward to bringing as much fun as possible to the P3’s training.

Rob Mitchell

Rob Mitchell, our specialist Goalkeeper coach, joined the coaching team in 2019. Rob started playing in goal at school when he was 12 and played senior club hockey from the age of 15. He represented his county and region in his late teens, and his university for three years. He also captained the 1st XI at his previous club for two seasons. Rob has played for all of ESM’s teams and is very supportive of the younger players and particularly keepers, stepping up to adult hockey.

Noah Jones

Noah is the SMC Hockey Gap for 20/21. Noah attended Pinelands High School in South Africa, where he played 167 games for the first team, scoring 71 goals. He won Gold  with the Western Province U18A team last season at the SA National tournament. He played for Pinelands HC’s Men’s 1st XI for 2 years. Noah is excited to be be joining ESM as a player and youth coach.
